Ck Cwt

Main Machine Water Corrosion and Scale Control Chemical
CK CWT is a water treatment chemical used to control scale and corrosion in main units and closed-loop heating and cooling systems. It disrupts the crystal structure of minerals that cause scaling, turning them into an amorphous state, and facilitates their removal through blowdown. It reacts with dissolved oxygen to eliminate it, thereby preventing oxygen-induced corrosion.

Directions for Use:

CK CWT is dosed into the expansion tank. The dosage amount is determined by monitoring the nitrite level in the water. The ideal nitrite concentration in the main machine water is 1,000–2,000 ppm. Adding 1 kg of CK CWT per metric ton of water will increase the nitrite reserve in the system by 75 ppm.

Recommended Values for Main Machine Water:

Chloride: max. 50 ppm

pH : 8.2 – 10

Nitrite: 1,000–2,000 ppm

If the water parameters in your system are not within the recommended range, they should be brought within the recommended range by performing a partial blowdown and adding CK CWT to the system.

Physical Characteristics:
