Main Machine Water Corrosion Scale Control
CK – CWP is a water treatment chemical used to control scale and corrosion in main units and closed-loop heating and cooling systems. It disrupts the crystal structure of minerals that cause scaling, turning them into an amorphous state, and facilitates their removal through blowdown. It reacts with dissolved oxygen to eliminate it, thereby preventing oxygen-induced corrosion.

Directions for Use:
CK – CWP is dosed into the expansion tank in powder form. The dosage amount is determined by monitoring the nitrite level in the water. The ideal nitrite level in the main machine water is 1,000–2,000 ppm. Adding 1 kg of CK–CWP per metric ton of water will increase the nitrite reserve in the system by 1,000 ppm.

Recommended Values for Main Tank Water:
Chloride: max. 50 ppm
pH : 8.2 – 10
Nitrite : 1000 – 2000 ppm

If the water parameters in your system are not within the recommended range, you should bring them within the recommended range by performing a partial blowdown and adding CK–CWP to the system.
