Steam Line Corrosion Inhibitor

CK – CC EXTRA is an amine-based product designed to prevent corrosion in steam lines. It protects the lines against carbonic acid and oxygen corrosion by raising the pH level in the steam line. It provides extra protection by forming a protective film on the inner walls of the steam line.

Directions for Use:

CK – CC EXTRA is dosed into the steam collector or condensate tank using a dosing pump. The dosage should be adjusted so that the pH of the condensate return water is between 8.3 and 9. If the pH of the condensate return water is below 8.3, the CK-CC EXTRA dosage should be increased. An initial dosage of 125 grams per metric ton of water, followed by a dosage of 25–50 grams of CK-CC EXTRA per metric ton of water added to the system, will ensure the ideal pH value in your condensate line.
