Corrosion Inhibitor for Long-Distance Steam Pipelines

Cemolin 1550 is a chemical formulated to prevent corrosion that may occur in long-distance steam lines. With its formulation that maintains its effectiveness throughout the entire length of the line, it ensures the system is protected against corrosion from start to finish. Our Cemolin product family offers different formulations based on steam line length and system pressure. Cemkimsan’s water treatment consultants will determine the appropriate Cemolin product for your system based on the line length and your feedwater analysis.

Directions for Use:

CEMOLİN 1550 is dosed into the steam collector or condensate tank using a dosing pump.

Control values:

toplam sertlik: < 10 ppm

tank pH: 10–12

condensate pH: 8.2 – 9.5

phosphonate: 10–20 ppm

silika: < 150 ppm

sulfite: 30–50 ppm

The exact dosage will be determined by the Cemkimsan Water Treatment Consultant. Protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a mask must be worn during application.

Corrosive Effect: In its pure form, prolonged contact with it can cause corrosion on any type of metal.
